Single hit of a vibraslap. Original file duplicated and processed with delay on one channel panned hard left and reverb on the second channel panned hard right. Hit moves nicely across the stereo field.

Hitting one of the two metal support beams that hold up the main pole of a basketball hoop, with a wooden rod. Recorded with a tascam dr-40.

I created this sound by taking two large cobblestone blocks and hit one against the other. Good for sound design. There is a little rattle on some of the heavier hits, it couldn't be helped since the block is so heavy.

Wine glass, tuned with water, being hit with an improvised percussion stick made from chopstick and a piece of plastic. These are claps recorded by three people at the same time. The kind of soft but very fast clapping that you would put in a spanish flamenco song or (as it was the case for the session) an argentine folklore song (chacarera). Soft clap — very tight, soft hitshard clap — tight, hard hit. Soft group — a little less tight, sounds like many people, still softhard group — less tight, many people, hard hit. Soft supergroup — i put three takes of this at the same time (one l, one center, one r), some hits sounded better than others so i picked the ones that sounded the best. Soft hits. Hard supergroup — same three takes put together. Hard hits.

I needed a "doo" sample, so, without further ado, i said "doo".
